About the Author
Philip Martin McCaulay is the President of Medical Massage Care Authority LLC and a graduate of Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy and Massage in Olympia, Washington. His other massage publications include Medical Massage Care's Therapeutic Massage National FSMTB Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination MBLEx Study Guide 2010 Edition, Medical Massage Care's Therapeutic Massage National Certification Practice Exams 2008 Edition and Medical Massage Care's Therapeutic Massage National Certification Exam Study Guide. Martin has also written and published practice exam books and study guides for licensing and certification exams in the pension, investment, finance, and real estate fields. With a B.A. in Mathematics from Indiana University, Martin is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (FCA), a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), and an Enrolled Actuary (EA). Martin serves on the Education and Examination Committee of the Society of Actuaries.

Basically the Real Thing

I took the MBLEx today and passed with a very high score. This was the only study material I had, and I'm thankful it's the one I chose. The actual test is basically straight out of this book. The practice exams are great in repeating things that will for sure show up on the test. Unfortunately, my 600 hour program was not as rigorous as it should have been. The first practice exam I took in this book I did fairly poor on, realizing that I had learned so little of this in school. I highly recommend this book to anyone taking the MBLEx!

Test anxiety

This book was a good tool for someone anxious about test taking. I took 18 out of the 20 tests and scored a 750 on the MbleX. The questions did cycle through and by the end they have you memorizing the stranger questions. I loved how it broke down the test into different categories so you knew what to study more of. The actual exam does not follow the pattern, so don't get used to having all your anatomy questions lumped together.
