Trusting In The Trinity is a wide-ranging, intelligent, and provocative study that is clearly written. I recommend this book to all who want to take their faith and their soul seriously." --Tremper Longman III, Professor of Biblical Studies, WESTMONT COLLEGE
"A bridge-building effort to bring together the concerns of modern psychotherapy and the historic Trinitarian faith: deserves critical examination." --Donald G. Bloesch, Professor of Theology Emeritus, DUBUQUE THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY
"Dan and Kate Montgomery's interpersonal approach to the Trinity helps eliminate the gap between conservatives and liberals, evangelicals and Pentecostals. All can use the Compass Psychotheology model to facilitate growth toward individual wholeness, toward respectful and edifying communities, and deeper intimacy with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit." --Linda Marten, Department of Biblical Counseling, DALLAS THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY
"Pastors and churches will find this book by Dan and Kate Montgomery a helpful and refreshing guide for helping people wholeness. This is a fascinating study based on a strong commitment to the authority of Scripture with a recognition that a personal, redemptive, actualizing relationship with the Triune God is essential for Christian growth." --Raymond Pendleton, Professor of Pastoral Psychology, GORDON-CONWELL THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY
"Dan and Kate Montgomery develop a 'divine psychology' that shows through their Compass Psychotheology model how every aspect of the human person's relationship to self, others, and to God is Trinitarian in nature. Pastors, churches, and Christian counselors will discover, perhaps for the first time, the therapeutic relevance of the divine Trinity, as well as its criterion of an orthodox theology." --Ray S. Anderson, Senior Professor of Theology & Ministry, FULLER THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY
From the Inside Flap
"Building on Jurgen Moltmann's social Trinitarian theology, Dan and Kate Montgomery develop a 'divine psychology' that shows through their Compass Psychotheology Model how every aspect of the human person's relation to self, others, and to God is Trinitarian in nature.
"This creative and readable book is more than just one more integrative essay linking the disciplines of psychology and theology. Rather, it suggests that there is a profound ontological 'map' of the whole human experience seamlessly woven into the person of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
"Pastors, churches, and Christian counselors will discover, perhaps for the first time, the therapeutic relevance of the divine Trinity as well as its criterion of an orthodox theology. Compass Psychotheology provides an invaluable tool for the complex and often fractured network of human identity, intimacy, and community that can be healed and empowered when interfaced with the life of the divine Trinity."
--Ray S. Anderson, Senior Professor of Theology & Ministry, Fuller Theological Seminary

Until now the Trinity has always seemed one step removed from my everyday life, but through the eyes of Dan and Kate Montgomery I see how the Trinity relates intimately to everything in Creation. I am fascinated by how their Compass Psychotheology connects the Christian Trinity to human nature, a person's relationships, prayer, miracles, science, philosophy, psychology, and creativity.
